Overberg Water

Overberg Water is a bulk water utility serving the Overberg region of the Western Cape. It operates as a water board under the Water Services Act, 1997.
It abstracts, treats and supplies bulk water to municipalities, farms and industry in the southern Cape, principally through the Duivenhoks and Ruensveld schemes. Its service area covers the agricultural districts inland of Cape Agulhas and the towns along that coast.
It is among the smallest of the water boards, and its area combines dispersed rural supply with seasonal demand from coastal towns. It reports to the Department of Water and Sanitation.
