The Durban University of Technology is a public university of technology in KwaZulu-Natal, formed in 2002 by merging ML Sultan Technikon and Technikon Natal.
Its faculties cover Accounting and Informatics, Applied Sciences, Arts and Design, Engineering and the Built Environment, Health Sciences, and Management Sciences. Its programmes are vocationally oriented, with work-integrated learning built into most qualifications.
It operates campuses in Durban and Pietermaritzburg. It is one of the few institutions in the country offering training in homeopathy and chiropractic alongside conventional allied health disciplines.
