Northern Cape Rural TVET College

Northern Cape Rural College is a public technical and vocational education and training college with its central office in Upington.

It operates campuses including Upington, De Aar, Kathu, Namaqualand and Kuruman, spread across the largest and most sparsely populated province in the country. Its programme mix reflects an economy of iron ore and manganese mining around Kathu and Kuruman, irrigated agriculture along the Orange River, and the growing solar generation industry around Upington and De Aar.

It offers National Certificate Vocational and NATED (Report 191) qualifications together with occupational programmes, and reports to the Department of Higher Education and Training.
