SAA Cargo is the airfreight division of South African Airways, providing terminal services and a distribution network for air cargo logistics.
Its capacity comes from a combination of hold space on SAA passenger services, capacity purchased from partner airlines, and dedicated freighter services for regional transhipment, supplemented by an interline and road feeder network. Routes link South Africa’s major cities to markets across Africa, Asia Pacific, Europe, South America, the United Kingdom and the United States, with domestic services to Johannesburg, Cape Town, Gqeberha, Durban, East London, George and Bloemfontein.
The division operates five air cargo terminals in South Africa with some 23,800 square metres of semi-automated warehousing across ground and first floors, including dedicated build-up, acceptance and delivery areas.
